Datadog, a premier cloud application monitoring and security platform, has announced the appointment of Yanbing Li as Chief Product Officer, effective immediately. Li brings over 25 years of extensive experience in product, technology, and engineering, having held significant leadership roles at Aurora, Google, and VMware. At Aurora, she served as Senior Vice President of Engineering, overseeing all software development efforts.
Her tenure at Google included responsibilities as Vice President of Product and Engineering, where she managed the commerce platform for cloud and service infrastructure and the operations for Google Cloud. Li’s academic credentials include a PhD from Princeton University, a master’s degree from Cornell University, and a bachelor’s degree from Tsinghua University.
Olivier Pomel, Co-Founder and CEO of Datadog emphasized that Li’s “deep expertise in artificial intelligence and machine learning, cloud and data infrastructure, enterprise software, and cloud operations will help scale the Datadog product portfolio to best meet the needs of our global customers.” Li expressed her enthusiasm for joining Datadog, citing the company’s leadership in observability and security.
