Microsoft has chosen Lumen for its extensive network capabilities, including Lumen's Private Connectivity Fabric, which offers dedicated and newly installed fiber routes to enhance connectivity, performance, and stability between Microsoft’s data centers. This AI-ready infrastructure will support Microsoft's Azure platform, which provides a suite of AI tools and services like Azure OpenAI Service and Microsoft Copilot.
The partnership will also allow Lumen to modernize its operations using Microsoft’s cloud and AI technology, reducing costs and improving customer experience. Lumen’s transformation includes migrating workloads to Microsoft Azure and adopting Microsoft Entra solutions for enhanced security.
